After updating to the latest Icedove (Thunderbird) package from the Unstable (Sid) repository my feeds stopped coming.

The solution is editing /etc/icedove/pref/icedove.js and comment the following line:

pref(”network.protocol-handler.external.http”, true);

After that everything works fine!
